LEN Silver will be signing copies of his new book, As Luck Would Have It, at the Celebration of Speedway event to be held at Paradise Wildlife Park on Sunday, February 21 (10.00am till 4.00pm).
The Rye House boss will be on the Retro Speedway stand, so please come and see us on what promises to be another feast of nostalgia at the home of The Speedway Museum.
As well as Len's book, we will also be selling our Michael Lee and Malcolm Simmons DVDs, plus the latest issues of Backtrack and Classic Speedway, Speedway in the 70s and numerous books.
Put the date in your diary, Sunday, February 21 for the Celebration of Speedway, incorporating the High Beech anniversary, which will be held at Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire.
Good News for all speedway fans is that entry to the park that day will be free of charge. Just tell staff at the pay Cabin that you are there for the Speedway Celebration and you will be admitted FOC.
There will be displays of speedway machines from the dirt-track days of Douglas and Rudge to JAPs, Ice Racing Jawas and Grand Prix GMs.
Rider interviews will be conducted by Craig Saul.
